I've noticed that a lot of you have many windows in your preview pics of new skins. I only have Alt + prntscrn here.

I've seen the aero peek being displayed as well as active programs in the taskbar and would like to make a preview that includes these things also.

If you skiners have a method to do this, please let me know.

My previews up to this point are just too basic.

Thanks in advance for any help provided!

Print Screen key on keyboard, paste into Photoshop or Paint, etc.

SnagIt is also good.

Hi Jim, Thanks for the response but prntscrn won't capture things like the preview image that comes up when you mouseover a taskbar button, I'd like to show that also.

I downloaded Snagit for a 30day trial to see if it would do that and i can't do that yet.

Update:

I finally got Snagit to capture the aero peek window by using the timer feature.

Actually, it will. But if you have the start menu open while trying to get the preview to show, that won't happen.

Cases like that, you simply take multiple shots, cut and paste.

Ok my friends, Snagit did all that I needed to make a better preview image so this issue is now closed.

Thanks for the suggestions, it just took me a while getting used to using Snagit properly.

Fastone makes some really good apps.

Not free but well worth the 15 or so $'s.
